RS launches browser addon
The new RS toolbar
Electronics and Automation stockists, RS Components, has created and launched a browser toolbar that works for both Internet Explorer and Firefox. With easy access to their product range via a customised search and a browsable menu structure, you shoud find your parts quicker than ever.
There is also the ability to check where your latest RS order has got to with the Parcel Tracker and you can even sync the toolbar with your POP-3 e-mail so it will inform you when you have new mail.
Although RS has previously released software to their customers (the RS CD-ROM) I am still impressed that they have released the toolbar because of all the support and installation issues that can come with it. Overall it looks tidy and well made - and I think it’s work taking a look at.
